“A crisis of the heart and a crisis of the soul”: sounds laughable coming from a man who seems to have neither.
Best line, from Charles Schumer: “The symbol of America should be the Statue of Liberty, not a thirty-foot wall.”
I counted thirty-nine of those odd sniffs in Donald Trump’s address. What are the thirty-nine sniffs? And what causes them? A crisis of the nose?
[Context: a presidential address and a Democratic response.]

I don't know how much to credit the report, but apparently there is some former "Apprentice" staffer who has been circulating a memoir or tell-all in which he relates that Trump crushes Adderall and snorts it. So maybe that is where the sniffles come from. Or maybe he has a cold and the Da-Quil isn't cutting it.
Yes, I’ve seen the claim that he snorts Adderall. There’s speculation that he uses it when he has to read aloud. I’ve heard the sniffing before and find it really difficult to ignore.
So is that a sly reference to The Thirty-Nine Steps there, Michael?
Yes, or at least a reference. :)
