A pair of clues from today’s Newsday Saturday Stumper, by Lester Ruff:
22-Across, five letters: “They often run about an hour.”
35-Across, four letters: “They run more than three hours for seniors.”
I especially like 22-Across. Even after getting the answer (the crosses let me know that it must be right), I was baffled. The dictionary was no help. I had to look at the answer again to understand.

Oh. Seniors - I was thinking those 65 and older. Duh.
I correctly completed this puzzle in one sitting (eating breakfast)--unusual! There were quite a few removals and re-entries, but it was fun.
For 'seniors' my first thought is always Golden Oldies (and I don't mean songs...)
Sixty and older at our “art” theater. :)
Bottom left corner was the last to fall for me, but a pretty steady solve nonetheless. It's a great tough puzzle to solve every weekend, so TENKS for posting about it. :)
