Not necessarily a Moleskine - cheapo police notebooks available from such stores as Office World are black, reporter-style and have an elastic band to hold them closed - can't see the average plod (or his employers!) spending nine quid on a notebook.
Looking at Staples UK, all I can find is this notebook, obviously different. Looking at amazon.co.uk, all I can find is the Moleskine Reporter. If there are similar notebooks to be seen online, let me know -- I like seeing unfamiliar "supplies."
The slightly rounded corners of the notebook in this scene suggest a Moleskine to me, but you might be right. I've seen knockoffs of the sidebound Moleskines in the States but not of the Reporter.
If the notebook is a Moleskine, might that be part of the joke -- that Andy Millman has one?
