I liked reading one of Cain's memoirs. He is a good story teller. Also I liked how he and other household names in Britain grew up poor like my British family. The UK had rationing until the mid 1950's.
ReplyDeleteAnd I liked how he was sensible about not preferring the LA weather, because it never changes. Since I can't afford LA myself, that's nice to know.
A terrific actor. I like LA weather, but I know that if I were to live there, I’d never get anything done. Too nice!
