My people

These people shared an office with me for years. Now they live with me at home, alongside an Eagle Verithin display case. The little guy is not pleased. He never has been.

[I’m pretty sure that these people came to me, one by one, as gifts from my children. But it’s been a long time.]

But... the bobbing-head turtles, where are the turtles?

Michael Leddy said...

They’re here, on the shelf of a little carrel. They feel safer there.

And thank you for asking after them! :)

Well, you know, I like my little people too (only one of whom is a human).

Same here, tea for just two, most of the time.

Michael! Had an email from the Mermaid. Forwarded it to you.

The angry looking guy...who is he? The person in charge of the adjunct faculty?

PS: I haven't seen a beehive like that for 50 years. Reminds me of the girl in my homeroom class who developed head sores from continually spraying (but not washing!) her hair for weeks at a time. Rumor around school was that those tiny cock-a-roaches lived inside the hive, but I never saw any. I think that was just malicious gossip spread by some of the other girls.

I probably shouldn't have shared that, hunh?

Thanks for the e-mail, Martha.

I wish I could remember the origin of the cranky guy. He must be an administrator of some sort. The young lady with the beehive is Didi from Shining Time Station.

John Waters has stories about beehives and roaches — they (the stories) must have been pretty widespread.
