The guitar switcheroo is the most obvious gaffe, along with the oddity of Chip playing what appears to be a left-handed upside-down bass. But, honestly, identifying all of the inconsistencies here might bring on a migraine. Do these illustrators have a serious drinking problem?
Notice that these are from two different strips. I thought they could at least keep track of whether Chip is right-handed or left-handed.
It could be that these gaffes are inside jokes of some sort, but the carelessness evident in the daily strip makes it difficult for me to see anything beyond carelessness. Sunday’s Hi and Lois shows considerably more care.
