Clam Clip Dispenser

Stationery-wise (as they might say in Billy Wilder's The Apartment), this gadget is just amazing: slide the dispenser over the pages you want to clip, push the blue piece forward, and a clip clips them. The clips are stainless-steel, reusable, and they load at the back of the dispenser. According to online office supply sites, "The Clam Clip System is a product created with pride by Americans who are blind."

Thanks, Stephen, for such a great gift!

Awesome! I used to have one but lost it moving around so much. I usually played with it while on the phone. Are you finding the clips easy to find? [no pun intened;)]

Hi Johnny,

I haven't looked for clips (I was given a good supply), but the gadget has a label with an 800 number -- 1-800-362-4335. Tempted? : )

That is GREAT! I love to see this kind of thing - no computer required!

I've been using clam clips for several years. This dispenser is one of the better designed ones. The clips take up less room in a file folder, they don't damage the paper, they're easily removable without a tool, and they don't catch other papers the way paper clips do. They're great, but some people won't use them because when you send a document to someone else and they take the clip off, they can't put it back on if they don't own a dispenser.

Eddie, you mean you're willing to part with these clips? : )
