Read the Evans' excuses. Chuckled. Read them again. Chuckled even more. The elephant of unmanageable debt trumpeted its blare for lots of us to hear, but Evans seems to have forgotten it in favor of a mention of Starbuck's contracts. The reason for Borders' bankruptcy? I'd say it was Borders' management liked financing their dreams, thinking their dreams a match for reality. Fiction is however a different category from non-fiction. Evans was definitely a fiction sort of thinker. Maybe the world divides along those lines, huh?
