Professor threatens to sue students

"My students were very bully-ish, very aggressive, and very disrespectful. They'd argue with your ideas."
Priya Venkatesan, who taught English at Dartmouth College, is "threatening to sue her students because, because, she claims, their 'anti-intellectualism' violated her civil rights." She has also accused her students of "'fascist demagoguery.'" Read all about it:

What a maroon. It's amazing how profoundly ignorant practitioners of "science studies" are of actual science, and the ludicrous statements made by the leaders in the field (I am thinking of Luce Irigaray's claim that E=mc2 was a "sexed" equation because (wait for it), it "privileged" the speed of light over other speeds "that are vitally necessary to us"). I wonder whether the former Dartmouth prof is capable of an intelligent conversation on genome sequencing or the side effects of atypical antipsychotics (to name two topics of current interest that any "critic" of science should be aware of).

Oh yikes, this just reinforces what people think about professors anyway.
